Tea Story

We are excited to bring you our 2020 harvest of Anji Bai Cha, a rare and exquisite loose leaf green tea.

Our Anji Bai Cha is produced in Zhejiang Province, China, and is expertly picked by experienced tea farmers. Harvested in early spring during a very short harvesting period 3 weeks, the thin, long tender buds are carefully handpicked and pan dried, with little or no processing, almost similar to making white teas.

This exceptional Anji Bai Cha offers a very clean and light liquor with a hint of pale greenish colour, accompanied by the most refreshingly delicate and soothing cup. It imparts a complex flavour with mellow with lovely mild lemon notes, a silky mouthfeel and a lingering subtle sweet finish.

The cultivar was founded in the 1930s with no more than fifty plants.

Health Benefits

Rich in health-enhancing theanine, Anji Bai Chai contains 3 to 4 times more amino acids than green tea. It also contains less polyphenol, and as a result, the taste is less bitter and astringent compared to other teas.

Definitely worth the price

Might not be the cheapest tea but definitely worth the price. Great quality and so good in taste. This is a tea you want to treat yourself with and not rush the cup.
