Black Tea

Black Tea is the most popular variety in the world, and has been enjoyed as a well-loved breakfast tea in the West for over 100 years.

At The Tea Makers, we pride ourselves on our large collection of single origin teas, all from renowned tea growing regions such as Assam and Darjeeling in India, Dimbulla and Maskeliya in Sri Lanka and Yunnan in China.

About Our Black Teas:

We believe traditional, orthodox tea processing techniques produce the best tasting teas. During its production process, Black Tea undergoes fermentation or oxidisation, producing dark tea leaves and imparting a rich full-bodied liquor with an astringent flavour profile. By working closely with our producers, we are able to stay up-to-date with seasonal climatic conditions and production processes, which is what enables us to provide consistently high-quality teas to our customers.
