Enjoy the taste of summer with The Tea Makers of London
Little water droplets form on the outside of the glass jug as I move the latest batch of cold brewed tea from the fridge here at The Tea Makers HQ. The tea has been gently brewing over night and I am very excited to taste the latest flavour of our enticingly delicious summer project. I pour the gentle yellowy green liquid into a glass and - with a great sense of anticipation - I take the first sip. The flavour is understated and mild yet a true testament to the exquisite quality of the tea.
This delicate way of brewing showcases the beautiful work of our tea artisans. Cold brewing is a simple and easy technique that produces a delicious and truly wonderful thirst quencher.
Cold brewing brings out the natural sweetness in the tea leaves. Therefore, this type of tea is a tasty way of staying hydrated during the hot months of summer. Depending on the type of tea, it offers various health benefits such as antioxidants and is a great way to add a little natural and sugar-free sweetness to your fresh water.
The NHS recommend that we should each drink six to eight glasses of fluid a day.
Instead of drinking glass after glass of bland water, cold brewing is a fantastic way of adding different flavours to your beverage without the sugars, unnatural flavourings and artificial colours that are found in most squash, juices and other soft drinks.
By adding fresh organic fruit to your brew, you can enhance the natural flavour of the tea and get an extra vitamin boost from your tasty tea beverage.
Cold brewed tea is very versatile. You can choose different flavours for different occasions and mix up a variety of drinks for people of all ages. Brew a naturally caffeine free fruity tea for your children to drink at school or let peppermint leaves infuse overnight for a new twist to your Friday night Mojito - the possibilities are endless.
With a selection of over 100 teas, we have just the right tea for your cold brewed project. Of course, some teas work better than others for this method of brewing. Therefore, we have tested and tasted an array of teas and have created a list of flavours that work a treat for this avant-garde tea brewing method. We have chosen a selection of our favourite cold brew flavours and put them on offer so that you can experiment with cold brewing at a reduced price. Click here for all cold brew offers.

Cold brewing is effortlessly easy. It can be done using the most standard equipment and requires very little time and work. Our Magic Tea Infuser is a great accessory for cold brewing. If you don’t own a Magic Tea Infuser and want to try out the method before you invest in any apparatuses, you can simply use a jug, an old bottle or even a washed mason jar - let your imagination run free. You can place your tea directly in your jug or bottle, let it infuse overnight, use a fine flour sieve, coffee filter or cheese cloth to filter out the tea and - voila - your cold brew is ready to drink. It really is as simple as that.
