National Tea Day 2017

Our experience at National Tea Day 2017 at Kensington Roof Gardens.

On Friday the 21st of April, we had the pleasure of taking part of National Tea Day 2017 - a day dedicated entirely to tea. This wonderful day was a tea-lovers dream. We celebrated the day by joining a tea festival hosted at the Kensington Roof Gardens in central London. This beautiful setting was the perfect place to enjoy the wonders of our favourite hot beverage.

Together with many fellow tea brands, cake makers and creative beverages companies, we welcomed the public for a day of free tea tasting, competitions and a general conversation about tea. Visitors could experience tea and tipple, cake decorating, taste beers infused with Earl Grey, but - above all - were able to sample a plethora of tea flavours and join in discussions about a common love of tea.

The garden - which is home to a number of exotic birds, such as the flamingo - was a stunningly beautiful setting. Tea-lovers and connoisseurs alike, mingled amongst the flowers and tea booths that lay dotted across the rooftop.

It was an immense pleasure to meet new, as well as old customers and listen to your tea stories, talk to you about your favourite teas and allow you to taste some of our personal tea favourites. During the day, we served up our Imperial Jasmine Silver Needle - exquisite jasmine-infused white tea, our Vanilla Rooibos - a tea with a beautiful aroma and distinctive colour, as well as a well-loved British classic, Earl Grey - a Ceylon black tea blend infused with essential bergamot oil.

We would love to take this opportunity to thank everyone who stopped by as well as the organisers who made this all possible.

We hope that tea-lovers around the country enjoyed this wonderful day and were able to celebrate at local events or in your homes.

We look forwards to National Tea Day 2018.
