CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE
Following the latest COVID-19 government mandate issued on the 2nd of November 2020 outlining measures for the UK to enter lockdown on the 5th of November, we would like to provide our customers with a comprehensive update;
The Tea Makers of London will remain open via our online store and will continue to serve our customers teas, blends and gifts without interruption, except where minimal delays may exist from our delivery partners.
Our trade and customer service telephone numbers (with diversions where necessary) will too remain open, along with our email addresses and social media profiles so that if you need our tea or services, we will deliver.
We would like to reassure all, but particularly those who may be at high risk and shielding, that The Tea Makers of London, and its partners, have put in place substantial measures to ensure that the risk of COVID-19 contraction and spread remains as low as possible. These measures have been placed from guidance from Public Health England and the World Health Organisation.
To date, the company has not received any reports of COVID-19 having been contracted by any staff and we are vigilant in following strict social distancing with mandatory face coverings in all areas of production. Hand washing, the use of sanitiser, PPE overclothes and a scheduled deep clean of surfaces form part of our routine in addition with minimal contact with the products.
When not in use, or being packed, all of our tea products are safely and hygienically stored out of the way with limited human contact.
During this challenging time, we would like to thank all of our partners and customers for their continued support. We recognise that we must stand united against COVID and so if you have any questions whether it is related to tea, or you need some help getting through these times, please do not hesitate to contact us.
