Tea Story

About the tea:
This is an exceptionally crafted black tea with subtle yet, complex flavours. The liquor is amber in colour with mild briskness, sweet mouth-feel and pronounced character. The succulently tender first flush leaves are gently hand-rolled into curled wiry tea and imparts a garden-fresh aroma. This particular black fusion tea has won many awards for its exquisite flavours.

About the tea farm:
This tea is produced in Doke Tea Garden, a small independent family run tea garden situated in Bihar region of India. The plantation was founded in 1998 by Rajiv Lochan a veteran tea planter and conservationist, who after managing several other plantations decided it was time to set one up of his own. The vision of the Doke Tea Farm is to produce carefully handcrafted tea that are unique to the region without harming the eco-system. They take great care towards the surrounding environment and communities and leave minimum carbon foot-prints. To promote this, they use solar power and have a water management system installed at Doke house.

The staff at Doke Tea Garden believe tea is not just a drink, but a way of life.
