The teapot is made from mouth blown, heat-resistant and durable borosilicate glass. In addition to its multi-functionality, the teapot has a very modern and stylish design.

A removable stainless steel infuser - suitable for medium to large leaf teas (not suitable for teas with very small leaves)
A Removable coil filter - suitable for large leaf or flowering teas
A silicon ring around the lid to hold the lid firm when pouring.

Heating - Stovetop safe for gas and electric stoves on low to medium heat. Do not use on induction heat stoves! Not safe in Microwave due to metal parts.

Upkeep and usage
If the ambient temperature in the kitchen is low, warming up the teapot before use will help the teapot last longer. This will also help the tea to steep more effectively as the water will not lose heat when poured into the teapot.
The glass is less likely to break or shatter if you warm it up gradually. Once you have poured in the boiling water, avoid resting your teapot on cold surfaces. Instead, rest your teapot a trivet or kitchen towel.
**Borosilicate glass - Borosilicate glass is made mainly of silica (70-80%) and boric oxide (7-13%) with smaller amounts of the alkalis (sodium and potassium oxides) and aluminium oxide.
