The Great Taste Awards, organised by the Guild of Fine Food, are the acknowledged benchmark for fine food and drink. Described as the ‘Oscars’ of the food world and the ‘epicurean equivalent of the Booker Prize’, the Great Taste logo is a sign of trustworthy, consistent, high-quality food and drink.
About Great Taste Awards:
In 2019 over 500 judges, including specially trained food writers inputting judges' comments, came together at 75 judging days from March through to early July. They judged 12,772 products entered by producers from all over the world in many sectors. Only 208 foods achieved the highest and most coveted rating of three stars. 1,326 foods grabbed 2 stars and 3,409 were awarded a 1 star. This means only 38% of entries were accredited, and of course, The Tea Makers of London was no exception.
The Tea Makers of London were awarded 13 Great Taste Awards in 2016, with our Japanese Sencha Supreme being one of the 141 products to be accredited one of the 3 stars! Explore our coveted and outstanding award-winning teas below.
