Tea Story

This exceptional organic Ceylon green tea is made from hand-picked tender buds that grow in one of the top-ranked organic tea gardens of Sri Lanka. The garden is situated in the beautiful, unspoilt natural environment of Sri Lanka’s misty mountains.

Ceylon green teas are famously full-bodied, impart a pungent, malty and nutty characteristic and tend to have a darker leaf with a flavour that is richer than other green teas.

This fine tea is produced without any artificial aid, resulting in a pure and very healthy product. The tea leaves are skillfully rolled by talented tea-workers and shaped into small pellets that resemble gunpowder - hence the name.

Ingredients: Pure Ceylon Green Tea

This tea is harvested all year round in Badulla, Sri Lanka (Ceylon).

I don't like black tea but have been trying to drink green tea for a number of years (Supermarket tea bag style) - but without fail - they make me feel queasy by the second cup, so I'm continually put off. I decided to buy 'proper' quality green tea and wanted an organic non-Japanese variety. I found this. What a difference! I don't feel queasy anymore! I can't make comparisons between other good green teas as I'm not a tea aficionado, however, if your purpose is to consume green tea purely for the health benefits - and want something that is not overbearing to your taste buds - this is it. Recommended!
