The origins of our Mao Feng Green Tea
Light, fruity and wonderfully smooth, our delicious No. 60 Mao Feng green tea is an excellent example from the ancient tea plantations found deep in the mountains of Fujian Province, China.
Harvested from the Anhui cultivar in early Spring, our Mao Feng tea is gently rolled by hand, mildly oxidised and steamed. The result is a large emerald, gloriously downy twisted loose leaf which infuses to produce a bright golden infusion that bursts full of flowery aromatic fragrance. This Chinese green tea has a flavour unlike any other within its category. Because of this, it is ideal for tea explorers who want to sample something entirely unique and unexpectedly floral but are overwhelmed by the umami depth of other popular green teas.
Once you have brewed this loose-leaf, you will be delighted to know that it can be rebrewed and enjoyed again. And for lovers of cold brews, we recommend that you try this infusion, both hot and cold.
