'I really love my Easy Teapot and use it all the time.

I love the design because the tea leaves can really brew properly so you get maximum flavour and can even use less tea. It’s super easy to clean and looks great too! ' -  Alice

Our Tea Expert Glass Teapots are practical and easy to use anywhere.

Going through the motions of loose leaf tea brewing can be very joyful and calming - especially if you have the right equipment. Being able to see the tea as it brews is the great advantage of using glassware. By assessing the colour of the tea as it steeps, you'll be able to brew the tea to the exact strength that meets your individual preference.

The teapot is made from mouth blown, heat-resistant and durable borosilicate glass.

In addition to its multi-functionality, the teapot has a modern and elegant design.  Find out how easy making tea is with this teapot in our Tea Journal blog.

Upkeep and usage

If the ambient temperature in the kitchen is low, warming up the teapot before use will help the teapot last longer. This will also help the tea to steep more effectively as the water will not lose heat when poured into the teapot.

The glass is less likely to break or shatter if you warm it up gradually. Once you have poured in the boiling water, avoid resting your teapot on cold surfaces. Instead, rest your teapot a trivet or kitchen towel.

For more information on cleaning glassware, read our 'How To Maintain Your Glassware' blog post.

**Borosilicate glass - Borosilicate glass is made mainly of silica (70-80%) and boric oxide (7-13%) with smaller amounts of the alkalis (sodium and potassium oxides) and aluminium oxide.

Excellent design, allows loose teas to brew properly and filters well on pouring. Good size.

Great until it breaks!

This teapot has served us well for about 4 months - it's perfect size for 2 cups and with the strainer in the lid the leaves get the chance to infuse in the whole pot to their full potential. The glass is extremely thin in places so we have had to be so careful not to break it. Unfortunately the inevitable has now happened. For 」30, I would expect something more sturdy, like for example the brew teapots

I highly recommend this teapot

the best thing about this teapot is the fact that the strainer is in the lid, so you don't have to use a separate tea strainer. There is no inner basket to hold the tea leaves so they infuse and you get maximum flavour. Highly recommended.
