I understand that metal should never be used in the preparation of matcha tea and was surprised to see you selling this. Bamboo is the preferred.: Thank you for your question. If you prefer the more traditional ceremonial method of whisking Matcha, a bamboo whisk is preferable. The aerolatte electric whisk will produce the same frothy results without changing the overall flavour of the Matcha while conveniently portable for Matcha lovers on the go.
