How to Brew
Use these quick steps to brew the perfect cup:
- 1–2 teaspoons (2-3g) per cup
- 200ml of fresh filtered boiled water (100°C)
- Steep 3–5 minutes
- Enjoy black or with milk
For a teapot, use 1-2 teaspoons per person, 600ml to 1l depending on teapot size, plus one extra teaspoon for the pot. (2 to 3g per person, with an additional 2g for the pot to ensure balance.)
For a stronger cup, use a little more tea and brew for a minute longer. For a lighter cup, simply reduce the leaf and shorten the steeping time. Feel free to experiment to find the balance that makes your perfect cup.

Production & Leaf Grades
Using carefully chosen BOP (Broken Orange Pekoe) and FBOP (Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe) grades, this tea reflects the craftsmanship of traditional orthodox processing. Through withering, rolling and controlled oxidation, the leaves develop a naturally rich aroma and refined copper hue that define premium Sri Lankan tea.
Wellbeing & Potential Health Benefits
As a classic black tea, English Breakfast potential benefits are naturally rich in polyphenol antioxidants. Many tea drinkers choose it as a gentler alternative to coffee, enjoying its balanced caffeine lift and comforting flavour as part of a balanced lifestyle.
English Breakfast Origin & Craftsmanship
This distinguished Ceylon black tea is sourced from the renowned high-altitude gardens of Sri Lanka’s Dimbula and Nuwara Eliya, celebrated for producing some of the finest types of black tea. Grown at elevations up to 1,868 metres, the cool mountain climate creates natural stress that concentrates flavour and aroma.
Each component is selected for balance, integrity and sensory harmony, then blended in small batches for consistency. The orthodox leaves unfurl during brewing, releasing deep, layered aromatics characteristic of premium loose-leaf tea, far superior to standard English Breakfast tea bags often found in supermarkets.
