SALSA (Safe And Local Supplier Approval) is a certification scheme that is granted to food businesses that can demonstrate they operate in a legal and safe way, while being committed to continuous improvements. SALSA audits are thorough and comprehensive, covering the entire Quality Management System, including sourcing, staff training, production, product specifications and packaging.
