Rediscover breakfast tea through a refined, contemporary lens. Golden London Breakfast is crafted in the acclaimed Lumbini Tea Valley near Sri Lanka’s Sinharaja Rainforest, where mineral rich soils, warm tropical breezes and rainforest humidity create exceptional clarity and natural sweetness in the leaf.

This single origin, artisan rolled loose leaf blend highlights the beauty of low grown Ceylon black tea. Expect floral lift, gentle earthiness and notes of forest honey woven through warm caramel richness. The result is a smooth, expressive cup with bright citrus delicacy and a long, velvety finish that brings a touch of luxury to everyday drinking.

Each leaf is hand plucked at peak freshness and shaped using traditional wooden kithul rollers, a rare orthodox method that enhances aroma, twist and depth of flavour. Lumbini’s dedication to craft and community has earned more than ninety five global awards and is celebrated internationally for its quality and sustainability.

Ingredients

100 % Pure Single Origin Ceylon Black Tea
(Lumbini Tea Valley, Sri Lanka)

How to Brew

You can discover our in depth black tea brewing guide to learn how to brew the perfect cup of tea. Use these quick steps to brew the perfect cup:

  • 1–2 teaspoons (2–3 g) per cup
  • 200 ml of freshly boiled water (100°C)
  • Steep 3–5 minutes
  • Enjoy black or with milk

For a teapot, use 1–2 teaspoons (2–3 g) per person, 600 ml to 1 l depending on teapot size, plus one extra teaspoon (2 g) for the pot to ensure balance.

For a stronger cup, use a little more leaf and brew for a minute longer. For a lighter cup, reduce the leaf and steep for less time. Feel free to experiment to find the balance that makes your perfect cup.
