Tea Story

Our natural Jasmine Green Tea is made from a mix of jasmine flowers and premium Chinese green tea. The jasmine green tea offers a well-balanced and refreshing brew with a wonderfully alluring floral aroma.

This fine Chinese loose leaf green tea has been delicately infused with natural jasmine flowers and mixed with whole jasmine buds. The infusion method - referred to by tea professionals as ‘scenting’ - is an intricate process that requires many years of experience to perfect. The tea leaves are carefully layered with newly bloomed jasmine flowers and left to infuse for several hours. The essential oils of the jasmine flowers slowly seep into the tea leaves and allow for the natural flavours and aromas to mix. The jasmine green tea is then gently baked in an oven to remove moisture. This process is repeated up to seven times to ensure that the tea leaves take on a strong fragrance.

Our Jasmine Green Tea is uplifting, refreshing and aromatic. Perfect for enjoying with a meal or in the afternoon. Enjoy as is or with a splash of honey.

Ingredients: Chinese Green Tea, Jasmine Flowers.

At The Tea Makers of London, we work closely with some of the very best tea farmers and tea producers in the world. We regularly visit local tea fields and production facilities to ensure that the teas we provide, are of the outmost quality available. The Camellia Sinensis leaves and flowers, used to make our jasmine teas, grow high in the Fujian mountains. Each tea in our Jasmine Tea Collection is sourced from the revered Fuzhou region of Fujian, China - which is the home of jasmine tea. In China, spring is the most important season of the year.

Unique taste of the jasmine
Saturday, 17 August 2019  |  Jol-Maurice

This is the second time I order this tea. This time a bigger pack than before, because this is one of my absolute favourites. I love the unique taste of the jasmine blossoms. Paired with an outstanding Fujian green tea this is one of the best teas I tried so far.

Jasmine green tea is my favourite beverage. I love the taste. Teammakers presentation and knowledge of this product convinced me they will now be my primary source to buy my tea from them.
