Tea Story

Our perfectly balanced Jasmine Dragon Pearl green tea - known in Chinese as Mo Li Hua Zhu - imparts an intense floral flavour and a beautiful fragrance. The infusion has an elegant champagne colour which looks stunning when served in glass teaware.

Jasmine Dragon Pearls is an artisan Chinese tea made from premium green tea leaves and jasmine flowers. During production, the tea leaves are layered with bloomed jasmine buds, which allows the essential jasmine oils to seep into the tea. The tea leaves are then delicately rolled into beautiful little pearls that unfurl when steeped into hot water.

Jasmine Dragon Pearls tea is named so because of the pearl shape of the tea. The jasmine green tea grows in the Fujian Province of China. Jasmine Dragon Pearls tea is created by hand rolling specially plucked long, silver, velvety shoots into little tea balls which are then naturally scented with fresh, aromatic jasmine flowers.

Ingredients: Chinese Green Tea, Jasmine Flowers.

At The Tea Makers of London, we work closely with some of the very best tea farmers and tea producers in the world. We regularly visit local tea fields and production facilities to ensure that the teas we provide, are of the outmost quality available. The Camellia Sinensis leaves and flowers, used to make our jasmine teas, grow high in the Fujian mountains. Each tea in our Jasmine Tea Collection is sourced from the revered Fuzhou region of Fujian, China - which is the home of jasmine tea. In China, spring is the most important season of the year.

The Jasmine taste compared a couple of teas was not as great, when i infused for longer to try to get more flavour out, the tea tasted a little bitter compared with other teas

Very happy with the sevice

I would buy from them again. Purchased "mo li zhu hua cha" -jasmine pearls. Good strong scent of jasmine. My preference which I bought regularly in China when working is "mo li long zhu hua cha" -dragon pearl which has finer leaves and smaller pearls. But then, as I am not able to buy in China since retirement, I am very happy with the TTMoL product to start my day.
