Don’t let a broken part make your lid come off! Our replacement lid for your favourite Classic Glass Teapot will ensure you’re back up and brewing in no time.
This heat-resistant borosilicate glass replacement lid has been specially designed for The Tea Makers of London’s stylish Classic Glass Teapot With Coil Infuser (450ml). We do not recommend this lid for any other branded products.
Looking to match up this lid with its owner?
Check out our 450ml Classic Glass Teapot With Coil Infuser. Made from hard-wearing borosilicate glass, it’s an elegant way to brew a couple of cups of your favourite luxury teas.
What is borosilicate glass?
Borosilicate glass is made mainly of silica (70-80%) and boric oxide (7-13%), with smaller amounts of alkalis (sodium and potassium oxides) and aluminium oxide. Used in cookware and chemistry labs, it’s renowned for its resistance to thermal shock.

I recently ordered and received 2 replacement teapot lids, which came swiftly and were an exact match for my favourite little glass teapot. However…..there were no little transparent elastic bands which encircle the inside of the lid and ensure a snug fit into the teapot. Without this band the lid is loose and can fall out whilst pouring. Luckily I saved the one from the broken lid so it’s ok at present, but it will, I suppose, perish at some point and my teapot will be redundant! (As you can see it’s a bit discoloured from the tea.)

Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful review. We are delighted to hear that your replacement lids arrived promptly and fit your teapot perfectly.
However, we apologise for the lack of transparent silicone bands. We completely understand how important a secure fit is when pouring. As this specific teapot is no longer part of our collection, our replacement parts inventory is extremely limited, and unfortunately, we do not have any additional silicone bands in stock.
We are very glad you were able to reuse the band from your previous lid so you can continue enjoying your teapot. Thank you for your support, and happy brewing!
Many thanks,
Maddie

It's so great to find a company that create products with spare parts. I was so gutted when my lid got broken, to be able to replace it on the website so easily was brilliant, delivery was quick and easy.

So very pleased that it is possible to get a replacement lid after I managed to break the first one - so pleased in fact that I got two, just in case.
