Made of porcelain finished with a glossy black glaze, this stylish, authentic accessory is designed to keep your matcha whisk in good order. Holding the bamboo prongs in shape, it helps maintain the form of your whisk – extending its life and making it easier to use. It’s also a great way to display your whisk between brews.

How do I use this?
This sleek matcha accessory will add an extra layer of authenticity to the preparation of your Japanese green tea. After using your bamboo whisk (or ‘chasen’, in Japanese), wash it in hot water before placing it, prongs down, on the Whisk Holder (‘kusenaoshi’). This will keep the prongs extended and stable and ensure the prongs fully dry out, preventing any mould growth.
