Tea Story

The smooth and delicate flavour of this exquisite loose leaf tea can be attributed to the unique weather conditions on the Adam’s Peak tea estate in Sri Lanka. Situated at 7,000ft above sea level, the misty morning mountain dew and long periods of dense sunlight, endows this ‘Finest Broken Orange Pekoe Flowery - Extra Special’ category of tea with an exceptional flavour.

Made from the most tender buds and bursting with silver tips, this is an outstanding tea that can be enjoyed mid-morning or in the afternoon. The tea is particularly flavoursome when taken with a little milk.

Adam's Peak tea plantation is situated in the Ratnapura district of Sri Lanka, adjoining the mountain of the 'Holy Footprint’ - also known as ‘Adam's Peak’. This tea estate was one of the very early plantations cultivated in the region and is renowned for producing unique and authentic orthodox teas. Adam’s Peak has been a place of pilgrimage for Buddhists, Muslims and Hindus for hundreds of years, as it is believed that Buddha, Adam or Shiva left his footprint on the mountain-top.

Ingredients: Pure Ceylon Black Tea.
