Liqueurious | Mocktail Recipes

We’ve partnered with the amazing Jason @Liqueurious to bring you some delicious summer Mocktail recipes mixing a beautiful range of our teas and some fresh products to provide the ultimate non-alcoholic chilled beverages to enjoy throughout the summer.

No Margarita | Bright, sour and intensely margarita-esque - non alcoholic mocktail

For the No Margarita Jason has used our Turmeric Spice Loose Leaf Tea. Rich in antioxidants, turmeric is the golden child of the superfood movement, and this beautifully balanced aromatic herbal blend raises it to the next level. The turmeric tea has is a fusion of Ginger Pieces, Cocoa Peel, Aniseed, Fennel and Blackberry Leaves. Read more about this fantastic tea here.

A non-alcoholic Margarita has a lot of convincing to do,but hail the Turmeric Tea Blend. With notes of ginger and turmeric these spices substitute the earthy subtleties of Tequila Blanco. The slight bite from the chilli is convincing, bringing depth and edginess to this bright, sour and intense Mocktail. What’s more it’s caffeine free too, which makes for an all day tipple.....

  • 100ml Turmeric Tea Blend - 3g per 100ml

  • 30ml lime juice

  • 20ml Simple syrup*

  • 2 thin slices of fresh chilli (without seeds) • 2 sprigs of coriander

  • Garnish with a coriander sprig & chilli slice

Pop the kettle on, measure the Turmeric Tea Blend, pour over boiled water, steep for 5 minutes and strain. Add all the other ingredients into a shaker, add a generous handful of ice and lastly the hot tea. Shake until cooled and double strain into a margarita glass. Garnish with a small sprig of coriander and chilli slice.

There’s no need to chill the hot tea prior to use as the ice in the shaker will chill quickly whilst being shaken.

A No Margarita pairs very well with Mexican foods, cajun foods, salsas and curry
