Go Green Tea

When it comes to feeling brighter and more focused, green tea is our go-to here at The Tea Makers of London. Produced by grinding the whole tea leaf, matcha powder is packed with antioxidants, making it the perfect natural pick-me-up, whether served as a tea or as a component of your favourite green smoothie. The caffeine in matcha has been shown to be released more slowly than in other teas, so we love it mid-morning, especially post-workout, as a way of keeping us going throughout the day. We’re also partial to Sencha – another famous Japanese green tea renowned for its gentle caffeine hit, and a year-round favourite that can be served hot or cold.

Some of our top picks for perking us up aren’t true teas at all but are so vibrant and refreshing that they never fail to make us feel brighter. They’re also great later in the day, when you want to avoid caffeine.
