Am planning on buying this for a friend whose birthday is mid September. Will the bulbs still be good if I bought it now for September?: Thank you for the questions with regards to the Flowering Tea Bulbs. Is there a filter on the tea so you can use loose green tea: Hello, Thank you for getting in touch. There is the coil filter on the teapot that you mention although at times smaller leaves can slip through and into the cup. We have a couple of tea pots that work very well for loose leaf teas. The Easy Pot has a filter that works very well for loose leaf tea.
