Beautiful gong fu glasses
These elegant, Art Deco-inspired Silver Lining tea glasses are as useful as they are easy on the eye. Hand-crafted from hard-wearing, heat-resistant borosilicate glass, they have a special double-walled construction that keeps your hot and cold drinks at the desired temperature for longer.
Lightweight and with a pleasing curved shape, the glasses perfectly showcase the stunning colours of the brewed tea, which appears to be floating inside the cup. For maximum visual impact, pair them with our stunning Silver Lining Glass Teapot.
As each glass cup is handmade, the shapes may vary slightly – which we think only adds to their unique charm.

Caring for your Silver Lining glasses
Borosilicate glass is made mainly of silica (70-80%) and boric oxide (7-13%), with smaller amounts of alkalis (sodium and potassium oxides) and aluminium oxide. Used in cookware and chemistry labs, it’s renowned for its resistance to thermal shock. However, as a glass product, a certain amount of care still needs to be taken:
• If the ambient temperature in your kitchen is low, warming up your Silver Lining Glasses before use will help them last longer. The glasses are less likely to break or shatter if you warm them up gradually.
• Once you have poured in the hot water, avoid resting the glasses on cold surfaces.
• These glasses are not dishwasher safe. To clean them, rinse with hot water and clean gently with a soft sponge.
